Our Founding Story: Catalyzing an AI Revolution

It began with a bold vision: to fundamentally change the landscape of Artificial Intelligence research and education in India. We recognized that bridging the gap between emerging technologies and practical application required more than just localized efforts; it demanded a nationwide movement.

The true catalyst for our journey arrived when the UK’s Royal Academy of Engineering, under the prestigious Newton Bhabha Fund, approved our ambitious nationwide initiative: "AI and Deep Learning Skilling and Research."

This endorsement ignited a powerful global collaboration with University College London (UCL), Brunel University, NVIDIA, AWS Educate, Videoken, Edvantics, and AICTE — recommended to 10,000 institutions across India.

Today, supported by over 100 million in pooled resources, we empower 10 collaborator institutions, 100 lead zonal partners, and 1,000 basic partner institutions — reaching 10,000 teachers and 1,000,000 students.

Because AI is inherently interdisciplinary, our impact extends across every engineering discipline — creating tangible real-world solutions that uplift society.
